One customer click. Back to the account owner.

A reusable customer entry point
Assignment follows CRM ownership
Customers see their owner’s availability
A marketing operations director was already working with an Adobe account team when a new customer-data initiative came up. They wanted to speak to someone who understood the relationship and could help shape the next conversation.
A generic contact form treated the request like new demand. An old representative’s personal calendar link could also lead to the wrong person after an account changed hands. Neither entry point reliably reflected current ownership.
For this customer-contact journey, the team needed a consistent way to connect an existing customer to the person responsible for the account today.
The team used Distro’s Click Router behind a customer-facing “Meet your account team” link. When the customer followed the link, the route matched their account to its CRM owner and presented that person’s availability.
The routed link could be shared in a customer email or surfaced in a customer-facing experience. The starting point stayed familiar to the customer, while the assignment was resolved through account ownership instead of a hard-coded representative’s calendar.
When the account changed hands, the team maintained the ownership record that the router used. A request that could not be matched followed a configured fallback route, giving the customer a next step even when the account data needed attention.
The customer reached their account owner without re-entering the new-business demo process. The meeting could begin with the existing relationship and the new initiative already in view.
The team had a reusable customer-contact path that followed ownership changes. Click Router turned an email or customer-facing call to action into a direct route back to the right person.
